About our Workshops:
Taoist Arts Center workshops
present aspects of a vast tradition of Taoist Water Method practices stretching back 4000 years. All workshops deepen the knowledge of continuing students and extend the Taoist Arts Center's curriculum to those who cannot attend weekly classes.

The skills and techniques
taught in these workshops employ the Water Method of Lao Tzu and are based on authentic health, meditation, and martial arts systems of ancient China. In these workshops Susan makes these traditional systems accessible to modern Westerners so that they can integrate them into their daily lives.

The Water Method encourages the gentle dissolving of energy blockages, thus avoiding the potential harm that may result from more forceful practices  All Water Method practices are designed to harmonize individuals with themselves, their environment and the universe.
